Marshalltown -- Down 2-0 after the first two sets, Indian Hills regrouped and came away with a road victory on Thursday night, downing Marshalltown CC 3-2.
The only set that was decided by more than four points was the final one, which IHCC won 15-10. Marshalltown took the first two sets, 25-22 and 25-23; Indian Hills recovered to win 25-21 and 25-23 in the next two sets.
Warriors coach Terry Carlson said, "We got ourselves in a hole and just kept working at it until we pulled it out."
Wynter Davis was a big part of the IHCC comeback recording a match-high 21 kills. Davis also had a team-high three blocks.
Bibiany Hammes had 42 assists for IHCC. Mariah Hopkins and Lizzy White each had 23 digs.
Indian Hills is now 6-5 for the season and travels to Council Bluffs to take on Iowa Western on Monday night.
