Marshalltown, IA -- A fast start in the opening set fueled a three-set sweep for the Indian Hills volleyball team at Marshalltown Tuesday night.
The Warriors jumped out to a 22-2 lead in the first set and cruised to a 25-8 win. The next two sets were much more difficult, but the Warriors completed the sweep, winning 25-22 and 26-24.
Carly Wehling had another big night for Indian Hills, leading the Warriors with 16 kills, 15 digs and five ace serves. Kelsey Wagner returned to the IHCC lineup after being idle for the last two weeks with a sprained ankle and she contributed three kills.
Indian Hills has won six of its last seven matches and is 19-15 for the season. The Warriors take on Iowa Lakes at the Net Center on Wednesday night.
