Boone, IA -- Indian Hills lost to Parkland (IL) and Iowa Central on Friday in the first day of the DMACC Invitational.
Parkland swept the Warriors, winning by scores of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-21. After dropping the first set to Iowa Central, Indian Hills won the second set, 25-23. Iowa Central then came back and won 25-23 and 25-16 to close out the match.
Sophomore Carly Wehling led Indian Hills in kills in both matches with six against Parkland and 14 in the Iowa Central matchup. Wehling also had a team-high 14 digs in the first match and 15 in the second.
The Warriors will take on MCC-Longview and DMACC on Saturday.
