Ottumwa -- Peyton Crosser's kill ended a first-set 25-14 win and started the Indian Hills Warriors on their way to a 3-0 sweep of visiting Southeastern CC on Wednesday night at the Tom Arnold Net Center.
Crosser led the Warriors with six blocks and added eight kills as IHCC won their fifth straight match and improved their season record to 18-4.
None of the three sets was close -- the Warriors taking the final two by scores of 25-17 and 25-11 -- with Indian Hills using big runs to take control of each set.
IHCC capped the night with an early 21-1 run in the third set, sparked by Carla Novaes, who led both teams with 15 kills. Emily Eswonia paced the Warriors with 14 digs and Jessi Black added 11.
Indian Hills heads to Union, Mo. this weekend for four matches in two days in East Cental's tournament.
