Estherville, IA -- Indian Hills began a three-day trip to northwest Iowa with a match against Iowa Lakes on Thursday night and the host Lakers swept the visitors in three straight sets. The scores were 25-17, 25-16 and 25-20.
After dropping the first two sets, Indian Hills grabbed a 10-9 lead in the third set. But Iowa Lakes quickly regained the lead with a 4-0 run and closed out the match.
The Warriors will now play four matches in two days in a tournament hosted by Iowa Lakes. IHCC's opponents on Friday will be Central CC from Nebraska and Iowa Lakes.
