Rochester, MN -- Indian Hills started play in the Rochester Community and Technical College Invitational on Friday with two wins in three matches.
The Warriors began their day by defeating Central Lakes in straight sets, 25-13 and 25-11, and ended the day the same way with a 2-0 win over Minnesota West, winning 25-21 and 25-9.
The loss came in the middle match when the Warriors let a lead in the third set get away and lost to Madison Area Tech. IHCC lost 25-21, won 26-24 and lost 15-13 in that match.
Freshman Courtney Blohm replaced normal setter Alimie Conglaves and recorded 45 assists on the day.
Three players recorded four kills against Central Lakes and Kelsey Wagner had a team-high eight kills against Madison Area Tech. Kelsey Lyon had five aces in the three matches.
Indian Hills will play three more times in the tourney on Saturday.
