Warriors Thump Ellsworth

Iowa Falls -- It took them a while to get going, but once the Indian Hills volleyball team got warmed up they took rolled to a three-set victory over host Ellsworth on Thursday night.

Three straight service errors for Indian Hills allowed the Panthers to hang around in the first set. The Warriors finally prevailed, 26-24.

Ellsworth managed only 20 total points in the final two sets as IHCC completed the match with scores of 25-12 and 25-8.

Freshman Emily Eswonia had a good all-around performance with 12 digs, 10 kills and five service aces. Sophomore Kelsey Lyon matched Eswonia with five aces. Freshman setter Ailime Conglaves had 23 assists.

Indian Hills' season record is 12-8 and they head to Canton, Missouri next Tuesday for matches against the Culver-Stockton JV and East Central (MO).
